Appointments

Request an appointment by visiting our Consulting Room.

All requests will be acknowledged and dealt with according to their urgency.  A clinician will access your request and deal with it appropriately via email, telephone consultation or video consultation. If the clinician feels it is necessary to see a patient face to face, an appointment will be offered accordingly.

GP and nurse appointments are available between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00 Monday to Friday. The practice also offers extended opening hours for pre-booked appointments only between the following times:

Monday to Friday: 18:30-20:00

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday: 07:30-08:00

Appointment Reminders

We operate an SMS text alert reminder service for all pre-booked appointments. In order to utilise this service, we will need your up to date contact details. If you would like to update us, please use our Change of Details triage.

Register for Online Services

If you would like to be able to request prescriptions online and view some of your health records you can visit the Reception and Enquiries Room to request this, once your request is approved, you will be provided with a username and password to access the service by a member of our admin team.

Cancellations

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please remember to cancel your appointment online. Alternatively, you can cancel you appointment by replying CANCEL to your text reminder.

Please give us as much notice as possible to cancel your appointment. Any appointment you are unable to attend can be offered to someone else who needs it.

Improved GP Access Appointments

We are pleased to be able to offer our patients additional GP appointments in the evening to improve our service to you.

The additional appointments are available between the hours of 18:30-20:00 Monday to Friday and are for pre-booked appointments only.

An appointment can be requested by visiting our online Consulting Room and submitting an online form. Please indicate on the form that you would prefer an evening appointment and we will do our very best to accommodate your request.

The GP may feel that your request can be best dealt with via email, telephone consultation or video consultation. A face to face appointment will be offered if the GP feels it is necessary for you to be seen.

What conditions can be treated?

Our evening appointments are for routine pre-booked appointments only.

The following patients/conditions unfortunately cannot be seen:

  • Babies under 12 weeks old
  • Pregnancy related problems
  • Severe mental health problems
  • Patients identified with a potentially life-threatening medical condition which requires referral to urgent or emergency care settings
  • Walk-in patients
