Subject Access Requests under the Data Protection Act 2018 and the GDPR

Patients are able to request access to and/or copies of their medical records free of charge under the new General Data Protection Regulations (The GDPR). All requests for medical records will be responded to within one calendar month from the date the request is received by the practice. All records will be sent to the patient electronically via secure email unless requested otherwise.

Please note; A charge will be added if the request is deemed excessive or multiple copies of medical records are requested.
